What is EDFS?

EDFS is an education agency which specialises in helping students ages 12-20 to be placed in schools abroad as part of their secondary education. The Founder Steven Young is qualified through PIER (Professional International Education Resources) to advise students looking for placements in Canada and Australia.

Each step of the way we are here to help and guide you. From your choice of course, completing the application, finding flights, choosing your school, arranging the flights, meeting you at the airport, making sure that all the immigration paperwork is correct and obtained on time, passing you on to our partners and homestay families are all planned and made to work by us.
Homestay
An integral and fundamental part of all our options is the support which is given to our students though the homestay system. All of our partners have established reliable homestay families who they continually monitor and support.
Where to go?
Options available
OPTION 1
Academic Year
Spend a year at a school abroad which can form part of your bi-lingual studies. You will study your chosen core subjects and learn to speak English.
OPTION 2
Short Term
4 weeks taster program, 3 or 6 month semesters allow you to experience living and studying abroad to give you flexibility within your study program.
OPTION 3
Summer Camp
These are organised courses over the period June-August each year which involve daily activities incorporating a combination of cultural tours and educational courses.
OPTION 4
Study Gap Year
This will be structured to include a study program to meet your requirements. It is a gap year with study at its heart.
